Where oh where is everyone?
Happy Thanksgiving to each and all of your families. Do you all have plans and traveling in your futures? I will be cooking at home and gathering family at my house. Step-kids and thier friends, my mom, Dave's dad, and cousins....last I counted it was around 14 or so.
Now, I have heard through the grapevine that there have been a meeting or two about this gathering we are having next year. Stace, I am here to help, seriously. If you need a block of time filled up, I have an idea called the Olympics that would fill in time. Also if you give me a list once we are closer to the actual events I would more than love to make the nametags. My husband has a cool machine at work we can use for them.
Anyway, noticed no one has been talking or using the board so I thought I better do something about that. I know with school, work, and all sometimes there isn't time, yet I always find time to see if anyone else has written so I thought maybe I should try and get the ball rolling.
Hope this note finds everyone in good spirits, I know our economy has a way of bringing us down, which blows since it's the holiday season. Would love to hear how everyone else is doing.

We are having my whole family over for Thanksgiving--including us that's somewhere around 20 people--I've lost count over the years. ha! Kory's parents are coming down Saturday and Sunday, so that should be fun. The girls are so excited to see them!
I hope all of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!
Brenda
The more - the happier and the merrier! Happy Thanksgiving!
Brenda-
It's nice to hear that your family travels. We decided this year to start doing our own thing, as the years passed we did most the holidays with Dave's family, who all reside here in Great Falls also. His mom passing away in April took a huge toll on all of us, as she had Alzihmers. But, I also have my family here too. My younger sister is staying in Whitehall with her husband as she is a coach (practices) and then my step mom still resides in Malta. She doesn't come to the BIG city often so that is a bummer. Dave is going hunting Friday morning with Joe, as he is home for a few days from college. Bragging about all those parties from the big win at U of M over MSU. Dang to be 18 again. Enjoy the holidays! Who is going BLACK FRIDAY shopping? I will have to see the ads to see if anything is really worth it.
Bonnie has talked me into meeting her first thing (4:30'ish?). Anybody else going to be in town and want to join us? :-)
Bonnie and Brenda did you have a good time shopping? My mom jokingly said she was coming to pick me up....I never did look at the ADS, were there some good sales? My mom is working part time and said her feet where killing her after a night at Shop-Ko and my cousin who works at WalMart gave me a dirty look after an 8 hr shift covering toys.... Where is that Christmas Spirit they should be spreading???? The girls are getting at an age I don't have a lot of ideas. Rylee likes clothes and Nintendo DS, but I hate to buy it because she isn't all that great with her toys and that is a lot of money....What are you all doing this year for them?
Well I didn't make it. After cooking all day long on Thursday, I hit my pillow at 8:30 and was pretty much out. I told Bonnie I wasn't going to make it, but she was awake at 3 and at walmart at 4:15! But it sounds like she got some great buys.
I hear you on the gifts--it's not hard yet to buy for my girls, it's just making sure they get something they will actually play with for more than a few days! they want everything under the son! so, I went with the nintendo ds, hoping that they can take those camping with them and that they will like them. Yikes!!
I slept thru the sales also. As I waited on people during the afternoon, they said the crowds got worse as time went by. Yikes. Bonnie I stand up and applaud you for your courage!!!
Rylee had 3 bikes stolen this summer (my husband and I also) so we decided against that (Thank goodness the ones before where used but still). The Nintendo DS thing I think is good we will probably end up waiting till next year. We have movies and all when we travel and so far that has been good.
She also has some Small nintendo game, just not two screens, that her Grandma gave her. What she wants is Littlest PEt Shop toys with a ton of small items you can embed in your feet. So, that is why we say no to that.
It is snowing right now here. I have to go to Helena so the canyon should be nice, just glad my appt is early enough for me to get back to Great Falls in daylight. Have a great day Brenda.
